Our services
Mission
Ophthalmic Clinical Trials strives to deliver high-quality ophthalmic testing in partnership with sponsors, CROs and research institutions worldwide. In providing our expert advice and advanced imaging equipment, we’ve helped progress many pharmaceutical and medical devices in trials across phases I to III. Our mission is to provide rigorous and thorough clinical data to accelerate safe and effective therapies that improve vision and enhance quality of life.
Innovation
Equipped with state-of-the-art imaging technology, we provide a comprehensive range of equipment for precise and detailed analysis of many markers of ocular performance, including assessment of tissue regularity and tomography, biomechanics, optical performance and aberrometry, densitometry, microscopy, and many more. This technology allows for the most accurate selection of eligible participants and allows us to monitor how the eyes respond to interventions with exceptionally high quality data collection and robust analysis.
Experience
Our team clinical team has extensive experience across all stages of the drug development process, from collaborating on feasibility proposals, protocol reviews, human ethics submissions and We understand the unique challenges of finding suitable participants. Our internal patient database is extensive and diverse. Over the years, we have cultivated a pool of over patients who may serve as potential candidates in clinical research, including those with keratoconus, glaucoma, macular degeneration, hypertension, diabetes, autoimmune disease, dry eye disease, allergic eye disease and many more. This readymade database accelerates the initiation phase of your study.
Reliability
Our dedicated optometry team conducts all ocular assessments. To ensure clinical testing is of the highest standard, all eight of our optometrists are therapeutically qualified and hold a Masters or Honours in Optometry. They adhere strictly to Good Clinical Practice (GCP) standards and must maintain certification. Their expertise ensures accurate and reliable data collection and uphold the integrity of your ocular clinical trials.
Collaborations
Our partners include CMAX Clinical Research, Boston Image Research Centre (BIRC), Fusion Clinical Research (I'ROM Group), Queensland Institute of Medical Research (QIMR Berghofer), Accelagen, and many more. We’ve collaborated with our partners on numerous clinical trials across phases I to III. See the list below.
